Cresa is the world’s most trusted occupier-centric commercial real estate firm. Our Edmonton office is hiring for a full-time Commercial Real Estate Advisor role. Responsibilities include prospecting, business development, and transaction management services for users of office and industrial real estate. An entrepreneurial approach to business is essential, and a desire to evolve into straight commission compensation a key requirement.

In this role, you will join a senior level team of professionals to generate new business opportunities as well as support ongoing commercial real estate transactions. You must possess a strong desire to succeed, have excellent communication skills, be self-starting and entrepreneurial-minded, crave collaboration, and enjoy being part of an energetic team.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, qualify and prospect for potential new clients and secure new business.
  • Prospecting for new client relationships via phone, networking and door-to-door contact and communication
  • Understand and manage commercial real estate transactions from inception to completion.
  • Develop an understanding of market trends, absorption, and the underlying metrics used to analyze real estate markets.
  • Track and record activity within the company’s CRM, Salesforce.
  • Manage meetings with prospects, draft documentation and understand and present corresponding financial analysis.
  • Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends.

Qualifications

  • Alberta commercial real estate license
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Designation
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a commission-based environment
  • Highly motivated, driven to succeed and have exceptional sales and negotiation skills
  • Desire to make occupier-focused real estate a career
  • Communicate clearly with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Assertive, resourceful, focused, innovative and a motivated self-starter. Entrepreneurial minded with the ability to connect quickly with others and be able to leverage built relationships
